ALZHEIMER CENTER – Sew bibs and projects as requested.
Need new pastel bath towels for bibs. FOR NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS – Works with the Miami Valley Fandom For Literacy to collect new and gently used books to be handed out to other non-profit organizations such as the Middletown Hospice, VA Center in Cincinnati and others. Children's books are donated to Headstart in Cincinnati. BOY SCOUT TROOP 707 – FPWC is proud to sponsor this new inner city Boy Scout troop in their endeavors. CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL – Make Christmas Stockings. C.H.O.R.E. (Club Help on Real Emergencies) – Provide services for club members as needed. GOOD SAMARITAN HOSPITAL – Knit caps for newborn babies. HOSPICE – Sew arm pillows, turbans and neck pillows. MEALS ON WHEELS – Deliver noon meals one day a month. ONE WAY FARM CHILDRENS HOME, Fairfield – Collect paper products, cleaning supplies, canned goods and personal care items at each monthly meeting. THE MEADOWS HEALTH CARE CENTER and RIDGE NURSING HOME – Parties with refreshments, games and gifts. Have also hosted a “Nail Saloon” for the patients. Need BINGO PRIZES – new or used jewelry, men’s tube socks, after saving needs, decks of cards, stuffed animals and perfume. RONALD McDONALD HOUSE – Save pop can tabs and collect small personal size items, i.e. hand cream, body lotion, shampoo, soap and other items as requested. Bring to meetings for delivery. S.O.U.L. FOOD PANTRY – Collect school supplies, Christmas gifts and cash donations. WINTON WOODS SCHOOLS – Collect children’s winter clothing and tutoring at school. CHILDRENS HOSPITALS NATIONALLY – Make OG hats for hydrocephalus babies. |
