and Bazaar

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 29, 2011!! Come one and come all to Winton Woods High School, 1231 W Kemper Rd, Forest Park, OH 45240. Doors open at 10 am and close at 3 pm. There will be all kinds of crafts, jewelry, gifts, and the like available for sale.

Forest Park Women’s Club will also be hosting a raffle — Grand Prize $500 cash! Tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. Tickets can be purchased from a FPWC member or at the door during the Craft Show and Bazaar. Grand prize winner will be chosen that day (need not be present to win). There will be other prizes donated by our vendors that we will pull throughout the day but for those, you have to be present to win. We will also be hosting a Bake Sale and will be serving lunch. Vendors: If you are interested in becoming a vendor please print out an application and mail it to PO Box 40638, Forest Park, OH 45240 with your entry fee. Or, if you have any questions you can either send an email or call (513) 588-4920 and leave a message.

History: The first FPWC Craft Show was held in 1984 at the old Forest Park Swim Club. The show was such a success that we saw immediately we would need a bigger space for the next show. We moved to the Cameron Park Elementary School and then on to the Waycross Middle School. Each of these places hosted the show only once. We have finally made our home at the Winton Woods High School where we remain today. It has proven to be an excellant location for vendors and patrons alike. It is close to the expressway, and has plenty of free parking.

Bake Sale: Come and visit the FPWC Bake Sale located just outside the school cafeteria! We will have a wide variety of homemade goodies to purchase — cookies, cakes, brownies, pies and other wonderful things to eat! The baked goods are all made by the club’s members just for you! All proceeds raised goes to our scholarship fund. Donations are always accepted.

Lunch at the Craft Show and Bazaar: FPWC also runs the lunch counter at the Craft Show and Bazaar — we will be serving BBQ sandwiches, coleslaw, hot dogs, chips, coffee, soda, water and muffins for the early morning crowd. Come and spend the day with us and have lunch too! All proceeds also benefit the FPWC's scholarship program.
